This policy relates to off the shelf plain goods, purchased online or over the phone.
Rights to Cancel
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract anytime up to the 28thworking day from receipt of goods, providing that:
- The goods have not been used/damaged and are within its original packaging.
- The cost of the return has been covered by yourself/purchaser.
How to Cancel an order
Should you wish to cancel an order, you must do so in writing to hello@paperbagco.co.uk stating both the order number and reason behind cancelling. Once received, you will receive an email confirming the order has been cancelled.
If you cancel an order prior to the goods being dispatched, a refund will be issued in full within 30 working days.
If cancelling an order after dispatch of goods, a refund will only be given once the goods have been returned to the sender (Paper Bag Co) Once goods have been returned and have been deemed fit for resale, a refund will be issued within 30 days minus the cost for delivery and any additional charge from the couriers for a return.
Should you wish to cancel once you have accepted delivery of goods, you will be responsible for the return of items at a cost to yourself. Paper Bag Co can arrange a return on your behalf, again, this will be chargeable to yourselves.
Whilst goods are being returned, you will remain responsible for goods until they have been received back to us. Goods must be returned in the original packaging and be in a resealable condition. Goods must be returned to us within 28 days to qualify for a refund. Once returned and checked, a refund will be issued within 30 days, minus any delivery costs occurred.

Return of items in a damaged/unsaleable condition.
If goods returned are deemed damaged/unsaleable due to packets being opened or damaged in transit, PaperBagCo may charge you a repackaging charge.
Wrong items purchased/exchange.
If goods have been purchased in error, we are happy to exchange for you using our courier service (please note, this cost is subject to the goods size and weight being collected – Typical cost for this would be £16.99) Any additional cost for the new items would also need to be received in full prior to the new dispatch.
Should you wish to return the incorrect goods yourself, you can do so at your own expense and place a new order via our website/telephone.
Damaged goods.
Should you receive goods damaged upon arrival, you have three working days to notify us in writing to allow us to take appropriate action. We will be unable to issue you with a refund or exchange after this time.
